We do not know the day or hour but we know the season. There is so much evil going on in the world. The mainstream media doesn’t like to cover a lot of stories but go to the BBC or Canadian news or the Jerusalem post and read the truth of what’s going on in our world. Be ready, Jesus could rapture His church at any time!  Don’t fall prey to the church of okayness, the emergent church that is becoming so popular.

Pastor JD really gives a great sermon about all things prophecy and what to watch out for and what the Bible says regarding the church of the end times.  God bless you all!!

Anonymous asked: Obama is the Jesus of today. He is not white. He loves all human beings (well, compared to Mitt Ronmey who seems look at those who are below him as if they aren't worthy of his "greatness"). In all honesty, it makes me sad, as a Christain, that you don't see that God may disapprove of homosexuality, but he will accept homosexuals. He loves all his children. You are a disgrace. Besides, it is not your right or anyone else to judge them, only God can judge.

Obama is NOT THE JESUS OF OUR TIME.  How blasphemous!!   He didn’t die for our sins and rise from the dead.  He has not lead a sinless life.  You need to get into your Bible and read dear one!!!

I am not judging them. God does love all his children regardless of their sins BUT, we all are called by the Lord to REPENT and turn away from our sins. I have old friends who are gay and I pray for them every single day that Jesus reveal Himself to them and change their life so that they repent from their sin. Sin is sin. Lying, cheating, stealing, murdering, homosexuality…they’re all sins and God calls us as Christians to be sorry for our sins, to REPENT and TURN AWAY from the sin.

1 John 1:6 says that there are many people who profess to know God and to have fellowship with Him, and yet they are walking in darkness, contrary to the commands of God. They are only fooling themselves.

The idea that you can have fellowship with God without turning away from a life of sin is a lie. Real fellowship with God changes us from within. Having a wonderful prayer life with God means nothing if you are living a lie and are not turning away from sin. It’s not true fellowship.

You can say you’re a “gay christian” all you want but you can’t be both. You have to be born again, just as if I were a thief, a murderer, a liar, etc, I have to turn AWAY from my sins and be born again.

I don’t like Mitt Romney but his moral beliefs are more in line with the Christian beliefs that God calls us to practice i.e. traditional marriage, pro-life.

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). There is a tendency to declare homosexuality as the worst of all sins. While it is undeniable, biblically speaking, that homosexuality is immoral and unnatural (Romans 1:26-27), in no sense does the Bible describe homosexuality as an unforgivable sin. Nor does the Bible teach that homosexuality is a sin Christians will never struggle against.

Perhaps that is the key phrase in the question of whether it is possible to be a gay Christian: “struggle against.” It is possible for a Christian to struggle with homosexual temptations. Many homosexuals who become Christians have ongoing struggles with homosexual feelings and desires. Some strongly heterosexual men and women have experienced a “spark” of homosexual interest at some point in their lives. Whether or not these desires and temptations exist does not determine whether a person is a Christian. The Bible is clear that no Christian is sinless (1 John 1:8,10). While the specific sin / temptation varies from one Christian to another, all Christians have struggles with sin, and all Christians sometimes fail in those struggles (1 Corinthians 10:13).

What differentiates a Christian’s life from a non-Christian’s life is the struggle against sin. The Christian life is a progressive journey of overcoming the “acts of the flesh” (Galatians 5:19-21) and allowing God’s Spirit to produce the “fruit of the Spirit” (Galatians 5:22-23). Yes, Christians sin, sometimes horribly. Sadly, sometimes Christians are indistinguishable from non-Christians. However, a true Christian will always repent, will always eventually return to God, and will always resume the struggle against sin. But the Bible gives no support for the idea that a person who perpetually and unrepentantly engages in sin can indeed be a Christian. Notice 1 Corinthians 6:11, “And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

First Corinthians 6:9-10 lists sins that, if indulged in continuously, identify a person as not being redeemed—not being a Christian. Often, homosexuality is singled out from this list. If a person struggles with homosexual temptations, that person is presumed to be unsaved. If a person actually engages in homosexual acts, that person is definitely thought to be unsaved. However, the same assumptions are not made, at least not with the same emphasis, regarding other sins in the list: fornication (pre-marital sex), idolatry, adultery, thievery, covetousness, alcoholism, slander, and deceit. It is inconsistent, for example, to declare those guilty of pre-marital sex as “disobedient Christians,” while declaring homosexuals definitively non-Christians.

Is it possible to be a gay Christian? If the phrase “gay Christian” refers to a person who struggles against homosexual desires and temptations – yes, a “gay Christian” is possible. However, the description “gay Christian” is not accurate for such a person, since he/she does not desire to be gay, and is struggling against the temptations. Such a person is not a “gay Christian,” but rather is simply a struggling Christian, just as there are Christians who struggle with fornication, lying, and stealing. If the phrase “gay Christian” refers to a person who actively, perpetually, and unrepentantly lives a homosexual lifestyle – no, it is not possible for such a person to truly be a Christian.

While the Bible does address homosexuality, it does not explicitly mention gay marriage/same-sex marriage. It is clear, however, that the Bible condemns homosexuality as an immoral and unnatural sin. Leviticus 18:22 identifies homosexual sex as an abomination, a detestable sin. Romans 1:26-27 declares homosexual desires and actions to be shameful, unnatural, lustful, and indecent. First Corinthians 6:9 states that homosexuals are unrighteous and will not inherit the kingdom of God. Since both homosexual desires and actions are condemned in the Bible, it is clear that homosexuals “marrying” is not God’s will, and would be, in fact, sinful.

Whenever the Bible mentions marriage, it is between a male and a female. The first mention of marriage, Genesis 2:24, describes it as a man leaving his parents and being united to his wife. In passages that contain instructions regarding marriage, such as 1 Corinthians 7:2-16 and Ephesians 5:23-33, the Bible clearly identifies marriage as being between a man and a woman. Biblically speaking, marriage is the lifetime union of a man and a woman, primarily for the purpose of building a family and providing a stable environment for that family.

The Bible alone, however, does not have to be used to demonstrate this understanding of marriage. The biblical viewpoint of marriage has been the universal understanding of marriage in every human civilization in world history. History argues against gay marriage. Modern secular psychology recognizes that men and women are psychologically and emotionally designed to complement one another. In regard to the family, psychologists contend that a union between a man and woman in which both spouses serve as good gender role models is the best environment in which to raise well-adjusted children. Psychology argues against gay marriage. In nature/physicality, clearly, men and women were designed to “fit” together sexually. With the “natural” purpose of sexual intercourse being procreation, clearly only a sexual relationship between a man and a woman can fulfill this purpose. Nature argues against gay marriage.

So, if the Bible, history, psychology, and nature all argue for marriage being between a man and a woman—why is there such a controversy today? Why are those who are opposed to gay marriage/same-sex marriage labeled as hateful, intolerant bigots, no matter how respectfully the opposition is presented? Why is the gay rights movement so aggressively pushing for gay marriage/same-sex marriage when most people, religious and non-religious, are supportive of—or at least far less opposed to—gay couples having all the same legal rights as married couples with some form of civil union?

The answer, according to the Bible, is that everyone inherently knows that homosexuality is immoral and unnatural, and the only way to suppress this inherent knowledge is by normalizing homosexuality and attacking any and all opposition to it. The best way to normalize homosexuality is by placing gay marriage/same-sex marriage on an equal plane with traditional opposite-gender marriage. Romans 1:18-32 illustrates this. The truth is known because God has made it plain. The truth is rejected and replaced with a lie. The lie is then promoted and the truth suppressed and attacked. The vehemence and anger expressed by many in the gay rights movement to any who oppose them is, in fact, an indication that they know their position is indefensible. Trying to overcome a weak position by raising your voice is the oldest trick in the debating book. There is perhaps no more accurate description of the modern gay rights agenda than Romans 1:31, “they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.”

To give sanction to gay marriage/same-sex marriage would be to give approval to the homosexual lifestyle, which the Bible clearly and consistently condemns as sinful. Christians should stand firmly against the idea of gay marriage/same-sex marriage. Further, there are strong and logical arguments against gay marriage/same-sex marriage from contexts completely separated from the Bible. One does not have to be an evangelical Christian to recognize that marriage is between a man and a woman.

According to the Bible, marriage is ordained by God to be between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:21-24Matthew 19:4-6). Gay marriage/same-sex marriage is a perversion of the institution of marriage and an offense to the God who created marriage. As Christians, we are not to condone or ignore sin. Rather, we are to share the love of God and the forgiveness of sins that is available to all, including homosexuals, through Jesus Christ. We are to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and contend for truth with “gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15). As Christians, when we make a stand for truth and the result is personal attacks, insults, and persecution, we should remember the words of Jesus: “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you” (John 15:18-19).

You are ever in my prayers that Jesus reveal Himself to you. There are so many false teachers out there who are teaching that the sins o the world and abominations that God detests are “okay” now.  Jesus is NOT politically correct.

You are the only person who can determine your eternal destination and God gives us free will and I pray you use your free will to truly turn to the Lord and away from sin in all its forms. God does NOT want us in hell that he designed for satan and the demons but we have to choose to follow God’s rules and not the ways of satan or we will be the ones to put ourselves in hell. That’s why He gives us so many chances to repent and turn away. I don’t know about you, but I want to be ready to meet the Lord when He comes for His church.

Matthew 6:24

The Message (MSG)

God bless you!

Audacity of a lie: timeline of Barack Obama’s false religious life

Any Christian who says they’re voting for Obama to have a second term really needs to pray about it and realize that they’re not only voting in a liar, but they’re voting in a man who supports several of the things that the Lord God detests.

On May 9th, after some of  his top gay political donors threatened to withdraw support, Barack Obama had an epiphany.  He would frame his support for marriage perversion as a religious decision.  It was just another deceptive move in a long string of deceptive religious tactics that have heaped more chaos on American soil than at any other time in recent history.  The dutiful media followed him every step of the way, ensuring that he was seen as a pious man, guided by prayer and faith.   Yet, GCM Watch has been on the vanguard, constantly warning the church that the man many hailed as some sort of  savior, was a foreshadow of a darker one yet to be revealed. This is our timeline of events. Note: Dates are GCM Watch publish dates.

August 2007 – During a LOGO channel’s gay issues debate,  candidate Obama bragged to his gay audience, “I’m somebody who I think is willing to talk about these issues even when it’s hard — in front of black ministers.”  The audacity to lie was born as Obama set about to prove he alone could unite two historically divided minorities by playing to the emotions of one group and the demands of the other.

October 27, 2007 – Former homosexual Donnie McClurkin is tapped by presidential candidate Obama to headline  a gospel show aimed at reeling in black church support.  Called “Embrace the Change”, the gospel show, featured prominent black church singers  (Mary Mary,  Hezekiah Walker, Byron Cage) and  signaled that Obama was in tune with the black church via one of its most important access venues:  gospel music.  But things don’t go as planned. When Obama’s anti-religion homosexual base discovered that  McClurkin said during the final night of the concert in South Carolina “God delivered me from homosexuality”, outrage ensued.  Obama was forced to openly repudiate McClurkin’s “exgay” beliefs. To placate homosexuals, a white, “gay christian”  cleric was added to the gospel show lineup. [from Obama, Donnie and prostitution]

November 13, 2007 – Obama on the campaign trail issues his first open threat to black churches about homosexual acceptance. On Meet the Press when the late Tim Russett asked him about the McClurkin fiasco, he replied:  “There’s a problem of homophobia in the African-American community. I will go into churches, I will go into meetings with ministers and say, “I disagree with you on these issues. This is not how I interpret my faith.” [from Pastors keep Obama-Balaam out of your pulpits]

January 22, 2008 – In Atlanta on a day that had the attention of the greatest number of black Americans, Obama reissues his gay acceptance challenge to black churches.  Speaking at the MLK holiday celebration he said: “We have scorned our gay brothers and sisters instead of embracing them.” Later on the campaign trail, Obama  makes numerous black church appearances: clapping, swaying to the music and shaking hands with old church mothers. But he says nothing about homosexuality.  Instead, his craftily deceptive message to them cast himself as a Joshua leading black people into a promise land. [fromObama tests his challenge to black churches]

February 23, 2008 – One Houston megachurch leader becomes a casualty of association with Obama. The Rev. Kirbyjon Caldwell decides to flex his political muscles by appointing himself public kingmaker. Caldwell, a close friend of  President George Bush now endorsed Obama. Gay activists were overjoyed. But when they begin looking closer at who Caldwell was, they discovered his church had a ministry which helped people come out of homosexuality. Things quickly went sour as the outrage begin to spread. Backed into a corner, Caldwell deleted the ministry and renounced any belief that homosexuals could change. [from Kirbyjon Caldwell, Obama six degrees of homosexuality]

March 4, 2008 – While addressing an Ohio college audience  Obama downgrades THE most significant and comprehensive scriptural text condemning homosexuality in both men and women, to an “obscure passage”. Obama says that  when it comes to homosexuality, the Sermon on the mount is more important than Romans 1:18-31. He later uses the same justification for his May 9th 2012 announcement supporting homosexual marriage.  [from Obama calls Romans 1:18-31 “obscure”]

November 12, 2008 – Obama begins his public associations with homosexual christians. Gay Episcopal bishop Vickie Gene Robinson reveals in a London Times interview that President-elect Obama has “consulted” with him on three different occasions. According to Robinson, Obama described his election as a “religious experience”. [from Will gay bishop become Obama’s spiritual advisor?]

December 1, 2008 – Bible scholar Dr. Robert Gagnon warns that Obama is using religion to shape public policy, particularly on homosexual issues. Obama quickly appoints a teamof 7 openly gay power brokers to help him carry out his pledge to eliminate “all discrimination” against the homosexual community. Its the first and only team of ”minorities” Obama sets in place. Gagnon said Obama’s expressed goal of killing the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) was a prelude to his intent on pushing gay marriage legislation. [from Bible Scholar: Obama using religion to shape public policy]

January 12, 2009 – Never a step away the magnetizing influence of homosexuals, Obama invites homosexual bishop Vickie Gene Robinson to offer prayer at the Lincoln Memorial during his inaugural event.  The selection followed weeks of rash criticism from gay-rights groups over Obama’s decision to have the Rev. Rick Warren give the invocation at his Jan. 20 inauguration. [from Obama’s false balance: gay and straight false prophets]

April 6, 2009 – Now in office, Obama moves to set up a tribe of religious advisers to continue his form of godliness via politics.  The Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships was set up with appointments for Bishop Charles Blake of the COGIC and Harry Knox a gay christian and other religious personalities. [from Obama’s [one] faith based appointments]

April 17, 2009 – On a speaking engagement at Georgetown University the president orders  symbols covered that might be visible while he was speaking including the religious insignia IHS, widely seen as a reference to Christ. To accommodate him, university officials place a black triangle over the insignia. According to CNS News, while Obama didn’t want Christ oriented insignia visible, he had no problem using a quote from Christ’s sermon on the mount during his address as justification for his now completely failed economic policies. Ironically, Obama used the parable of the two builders from Matt 7:24-29. [from ”Pastor” Obama lectures the nation using scripture]

July 3, 2009 -  Obama summons key  homosexual activists to the White House and tells them that he has no regard for what the bible says about homosexuality. Obama says he has written off the “worn arguments and old attitudes of those who believe homosexuality is wrong” He also reminds ecstatic homosexuals that he has declared June gay pride month and celebrated with them. He declined to declare a National Day of Prayer. [from“Obama’s arrogant hate of God’s Word”]

August 2, 2009 – With Obama in office less than a year,  gospel music industry workers line up to produce an Obama devotional CD. The deification of Barack Obama was in full swing.  Gospel industry workers including Israel Houghton, Marvin L. Winans, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Dottie Peoples, Micah Stampley, Donnie McClurkin, Kelly Price and others released a “tribute” album.  According to one gospel music website “This unique collection of songs captures the sense of hope that Barack Obama embodies.” [from Gospel industry workers pay “tribute” to Obama]

August 17, 2009 – In response to the President’s war on DOMA, Americans For Truth about Homosexuality (AFTAH) releases a graphic showing that Obama explicitly endorsed homosexual marriage in 1996. “I favor homosexual marriage and will fight efforts to prohibit such marriages”, he wrote on a questionnaire supplied by a gay newspaper. [from Obama in 96: I favor gay marriage”]

September 28, 2009 – Obama’s spell over black church leaders is exemplified in a bizarre statement which appeared in the Los Angeles Times.  Charisma Magazine reported that Obama moved to recruit black church leaders to carry the torch for his healthcare plan to reel in black church support. COGIC Bishop Charles Blake, leader of the nation’s largest black pentecostal denomination comes out as a major advocate of Obama’s new “health care” law.  The controversial law was rejected by a large majority of Americans. But Blake, in his zeal to defend Obama, told the press: “the abortion of fetuses shall not be covered by healthcare plans funded by this initiative.” [from Obama puts of fake savior in chief face to reel in church support]

October 23, 2009 – Channeling the false prophet Balaam,  Obama openly pronounces the blessing of God upon Sodom and its vile practices. The president tells the homosexual Human Rights Campaign (HRC):  “You will see a time in which we as a nation finally recognized relationships between two men or two women, are just as real and admirable as relationships between a man and a woman.” Obama makes this statement to the homosexual group while simultaneously telling the church that he was against gay marriage. [fromObama blesses Sodom]

March 4, 2010 – In advance of his crusade to dismantle the military’s  fair and balanced Dont Ask Dont Tell policy, Obama sends an ominous signal to the chaplain corps. Tony Perkins, a marine corp veteran who opposed the repeal of DADT, had a prior approved speaking engagement on Andrews Air Force Base cancelled.  Perkins said that what happened to him was  a warning to those who would dare oppose Obama’s agenda, particularly military chaplains who espouse a biblical worldview. [from SOTUS send signal to military chaplains]

April 2, 2010 – Obama installs a fourth homosexual activist in a key political office. This time its lesbian activist Chai Feldblum who was installed in a “recess appointment” because her views against the church were so extreme she could not win confirmation in the normal process.  Feldblum’s appointment was significant because  Obama placed her over the EEOC the department which determines what constitutes “discrimination” in the workplace.  The danger to the church was Felblum’s  open hatred of religious freedom, especially that of  Christians who oppose homosexuality.  In an interview about the passage of ENDA (Employment Nondiscrimination Act) which she helped write, Feldblum summed her beliefs thusly:  Gays win; Christians lose.” The Feldblum appointment shows just how committed Obama remains to advancing  anti-Christian policies via his gay surrogates. [from Obama installs fourth political beast]

July 24, 2010  – Black Christian News Network (BCCN)  issues a challenge to Christians to openly repudiate Obama’s “two fathers” lie.  The president’s Father’s Day Proclamation said in part:  “Nurturing families come in many forms, and children may be raised by a father and mother, a single father, two fathers, a step  father, a grandfather, or caring guardian.” Both the challenge and Obama’s statement go largely unnoticed. [from BCCN challenges megas to repudiate SOTUS “two fathers” lie.]

August 27, 2010 – Less than 30 days after his “two fathers” lie, A coalition of 70 “religious leaders” ignore the president’s lie and instead release an open letter condemning anyone who “questions the president’s faith”. Among the signatories: TD Jakes, Kirbyjon Caldwell, Samuel Rodriguez,  and Brian McLauren.  The cover and concealment helped to quell any dissension about whether Obama was an authentic Christian. [from Religious false prophets rush to defend SOTUS]

February 5, 2011 – Obama begins advancing religious homosexuals. The leader of the Metropolitan Community Church, along with two other progay clerics are appointed to the Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.  Obama uses the occasion of a White House prayer breakfast to make the claim “Jesus Christ is my lord and savior” before making the appointments. In his testimony, seen as a followup to the open letter released on his behalf, Obama says he “came to know Christ” through working with diverse religious beliefs. [from Obama appoints apostate gay christian to top faith committee”]

May 18, 2011 – Under Obama’s religious spell, megachurch leader TD Jakes confronts Evangelist Franklin Graham for “questioning the president’s faith”.  Jakes takes to the media to forcefully demand that Graham repent. But in contrast, when fellow black megachurch leader Eddie Long  all but admits to sexual activity with young men in his church, Jakes makes a church speech about how the blood of Christ covers us all. He declines to condemn Long or demand he repent.  Jakes becomes the poster child for defend Obama faith despite insurmountable evidence that Obama is a false convert. [source]

July 20, 2011 – Emboldened by the passage of same sex marriage in New York, Obama announces his support to overturn the 15-year-old Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) a law prohibiting federal recognition of same sex marriage. Its also the last line of defense for some 30 plus states that use DOMA as its “states rights” justification for banning same sex marriage.  Some Christian leaders warn that Obama is taking steps to officially support homosexual marriage, but it falls on deaf ears.  Due to his sustained and excessive advocacy of homosexual rights, GCM Watch takes the bold step to declare Obama the “first homosexual president”. [from “Breaking:  Brack Obama comes out of the closet”]

March 2, 2012 – Obama quietly kills off his religious harem aka Faith Based Council and buries it in an unmarked grave.  Despite appointing individuals like COGIC Bishop Charles Blake to the Council, the FBC is always neutered and passive. The only exception came from the progays who used their presidential appointment to launch attacks against profamily groups. [from Obama’s religious harem on graveyard status]

May 9, 2012 – In a breaking news format, ABC news airs interview with Barack Obama where he uses a statement by Jesus in Luke 6:31 to announce his support for homosexual  marriage. GCM Watch founder Pastor DL Foster issues an open letter sharply rebuking the president. [from Dear Mr. President]

Gay pedophilia may be more common than reported

Read this article online today.  Found it disturbing.  Thoughts?

A special GCM Watch Report

The official line from the social apologists of the gay community is that pedophilia is primarily a heterosexual crime. Bring up pedophilia in any conversations even remotely related to gays and you will hear that quick retort.  Now, that should be questioned, due to more and more cases of homosexual activists (high profile ones included) running into trouble because they cant restrain their lust for child sex. Perhaps homosexuals really do have higher incidences of pedophilia, but have been successful at keeping such things out of the public eye. Its not at all beyond the gay rights enslaved mainstream media to shield and/or obfuscate the facts about homosexuals who commit child sex crimes. Its interesting that in some molestation cases, the “heterosexual” labeled is quickly attached to a man who’s sexual desire oriented towards young males or boys, thus furthering the perception that most child sex crimes are committed by heterosexual men.

But several cases have recently come to light, causing us to re-examine this issue.

From Americans for Truth about Homosexuality, a report that Adam Flanders, a convicted sex offender, is suing to get his pedophile mug shot, letter and attendant information removed from a profamily watchdog site. That’s really strange considering gay activists engage in such  “exposure” activities against others with dizzying frequency.

Folks, this is one of the most curious and outrageous examples of ‘homo-fascist’ arrogance I have ever encountered, and I apologize for delays in bringing it to you through AFTAH. Below is the (slightly redacted) text of a 2007 letter by Maine homosexual activist Adam Flanders, exposing the pedophilia, perversion and all-around dysfunction at a Maine “gay youth” group, “OUT!…as I Want to Be.” [View the letter  and  alocal article about his explosive letter.]

As MassResistance writes, “Flanders was subsequently convicted of sexually molesting a 14-year-old boy he met at the “gay youth” organization. He spent time in jail, and is currently a registered sex offender in Maine.” [Click HERE to view Flanders’ Maine Sex Offender Registry listing.]

One can only imagine how many incidents of adult-teen predatory behavior and abuses like this have gone on at the many “gay youth” centers in cities and communities across the country, but which have never been exposed, much less investigated!

Recently, Flanders started pressuring pro-family websites to take down his letter exposing OUT! Most complied, but not Brian Camenker of MassResistance — a true man of principle who makes it a point never to give in to “gay” activist bullies. So Flanders accused Camenker of “stalking” him and got a bizarre “restraining order” (in a kangaroo-court trial) against Camenker — even though Brian, living in another state, had never come near Flanders.

Next, when Brian continued to refuse to take down his letter, Flanders successfully pressured Camenker’s Kentucky-based web provider to drop MassResistance as a client. Even the conservative WorldNetDaily pulled a couple of articles about the story after being pressured by Flanders.

The Flanders’ suit seems to be based solely on prejudice. Why isn’t he also suing the government of Maine for putting his pedophile mugshot of its official sex offender registry? In a response letter to AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera, Flanders seemed to significantly downplay his crime and even suggested that in Maine age of consent laws weren’t serious.

“You people act like this is some crime of the century, but that’s not how it’s viewed here in Maine. Things are different here. The age of consent is different. When I was sentenced, DA Rushlau told my attorney that the sentence was a “gift.” I’m not sure what that meant, but Rushlau is going to be representing the State in my criminal appeals.”

Homosexual activists have strenuously argued that there is no connection between homosexuality and the sexual abuse of children. They point out that the majority of child molestation cases are by heterosexuals. But they neglect a pivotal fact: homosexual identified persons comprise only a small percentage of the population (2%), yet account for an extraordinarily high percentage of offenses against children.

Now consider a report from the Journal of Sex Research, which noted that homosexual pedophiles commit about one-third of the total number of child sex offenses, even though they are outnumbered by heterosexuals over 20 to one. Less than 3 percent of the population commits one-third of the offenses against children!

In The Gay Report, homosexual researchers report data showing that better than 7 out of 10 homosexuals surveyed had at some time had sex with minors of 16 to 19.

GLBTP?

The common gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender acronym (GLBT) may need to be revised for inclusion of the P (pedophile) identifier. If you think that’s far fetched, consider the recent case of  Larry Brinkin, a  prominent California gay rights advocate who was exposed not just as a pedophile but as a RACIST PEDOPHILE. From Briebart:

“Larry Brinkin, the gay activist who led the fight to get San Francisco to recognize domestic partnerships, was arrested for child pornography today. Items seized from his home included computers, videos, tapes, and discs.  He had been a long-time employee of the Human Rights Commission, and a central figure in the gay rights movement. The San Francisco board of supervisors actually gave a “Larry Brinkin Week” in February 2010 upon his retirement.
The search warrant is a comprehensive list of terribles: images of year-old infants subjected to sodomy and oral sex, and perverse racial comments (Brinkin’s email: “I loved especially the 2 year old n—– getting nailed. Hope you’ll continue so I can see what the little blond b—- is going to get. White Power! White Supremacy! White D— Rules!”).”

Additional coverage from the San Francisco Examiner. Questions: why didn’t this make national news? Why are the usual gay affirming race pimps silent about this? Why didn’t gay rights leaders  publish extensive coverage refuting and distancing themselves from such a vile lowlife?  After all, Brinkin is one of their highly lauded heroes.

A report from the Journal of Sex Research, noted that homosexual pedophiles commit about one-third of the total number of child sex offenses, even though they are outnumbered by heterosexuals over 20 to one. Less than 3 percent of the population commits one-third of the offenses against children! In The Gay Report, homosexual researchers report data showing that better than 7 out of 10 homosexuals surveyed had at some time had sex with minors of 16 to 19.

The dirty secrets of gay sex culture are beginning to seep out. In late July 2005, I uncovered and exposed a scheme by what was then called  Richmond (VA) Organization for Sexual Minority Youth (ROSMY). Called the “Mpowerment Project” it aimed to send boys into gay clubs to “educate” grown men about sex. The salacious ad ROSMY placed on their website had been there for months and would have remained, but when I brought attention to it on my social-political blog Perspectives in Motion, they quickly removed all references to the program. After several evasive tactics to get me off their track, ROSMY officials then outright denied anything was amiss.

But the damage was done.

Agape Press (later renamed OneNewsNow) picked up the story and implicated Wachovia Bank which had provided funding to the organization.  But in a letter responding to a complaintant about the ROSMY link to Wachovia, the bank said: “Wachovia is not an ongoing supporter of the organization mentioned in the blog, ROSMY, and we are requesting that our name be removed from their website.”
The letter also said that the Agape Press story “misrepresented” Wachovia’s association with ROSMY. However the Agape Press story only said “ROSMY is receiving financial support from Wachovia Securities…” This is exactly what the ROSMY website stated. Wachovia did not elaborate on how it was “misrepresented.”

Later, I received a letter from  Kevin Wasserman who said he witnessed ROSMY exposing kids to adult sexual situations and kept it secret under the guise of “confidence” clauses which meant parents were not privy to what was happening.

Things get personal

When more negative press bore down on ROSMY, its white leaders tried to deflect my criticism of their wicked and criminal behavior by enlisting the support of Julian Bond, the past president of the NAACP. Bond was a gay rights advocate who ROSMY thought had the power to shut me down. It was an old racist trick. Get a black to shut another black down. It didn’t work. Bond sent me a letter (on official NAACP letterhead)  calling ROSMY a “blessings” and falsely accusing me of whatever he could latch onto to get the heat off ROSMY.  I responded with specific challenges to his letter.  But of course, Bond never responded. You can read about that herehere and here.

Wide Awake: Katy Perry, actions speak louder than words.

I have often been asked or have read posts where Christians are wondering whether Katy Perry is a Christian again after her “Wide Awake” video. A lot of people assume that the video is symbolic of her return to Jesus and away from the sinful and wicked music industry. It’s actually symbolic of monarch mind control, you can read about that here

Katy and her man-of-the-moment who she has sleepovers with John Mayer, celebrated her birthday this weekend with a Halloween themed birthday party.

Katy who claims to still be a Christian is dressed as a vampire with fangs but wore a big cross and a leotard that had crosses all over them. You can’t dress as a representation of evil and still claim to be a Christian Katy. Her wearing a cross while dressed as a vampire is a mockery of the sacrifice Jesus made for our sins on the cross.

Matthew 6:24
“ No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other.

In both the Old and New Testaments, God strongly warns us not to have anything to do with the occult, which is part of the “domain of darkness” (Col. 1:13) where demons reign. He calls occult practices “detestable,” which tells us that He is passionate about protecting us. One of the reasons Twilight is so dangerous is that readers can long for these kinds of supernatural but ungodly powers; if not in real life, then in their imagination. And this is a doorway to the demonic, which is all about gaining power from a source other than God. Twilightglorifies the occult, the very thing God calls detestable (Deut. 18:9). This is reason enough for Christ-followers to stay away from it!

Let’s just say for argument’s sake that it was just for fun…okay…well let’s keep in mind that Ms. Katy Perry aka Katherine Hudson, was raised as a Bible believing and knowing Christian. The excuse of “oh she doesn’t know any better” or “she doesn’t know the Bible” can’t apply to her because she was raised as a Pastor’s daughter, in the Word of God. I can’t speak for her parents’ current views on the Bible, but their daughter has certainly turned from the Lord’s Word, Will and Way.

Here’s a photo of Katy laying on her ouija board dance floor at her party.  She was raised in such a strict Christian household that she wasn’t even allowed to use words like “luck” because the root word was “lucifer” (Katy Perry in her own words talking about her strict Christian upbringing here).

The modern Ouija board was created in the late 1800s as interest in spiritualism grew. A Ouija board is simply a game board that has the alphabet, numerals, and “yes” and “no” printed on its face. Used in conjunction with a pointer, Ouija boards are believed to allow spirits of the dead to communicate with the living. They are often considered to be communication gateways to those who have “passed over.” Of course, this is all based on the supposition that spirits, or ghosts, even exist in the first place and that they can, or want to, communicate with the world of the living.

The Bible has a few things to say about engaging in activities of this nature:

Leviticus 19:31 - “Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.”

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 - “Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD.”

Isaiah 8:19 - “When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?”

Galatians 5:19-20 - “The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Occultists will insist that the boards work by allowing spirits of the dead to move the pointer in answer to queries. Scientists have yet to prove that the pointer is moved by anything other than the living people touching the pointer. In fact, spirits of the dead seem to get extremely confused when participants are blindfolded, at which point the Ouija board suddenly ceases to work correctly.

“Playing” with a Ouija board is engaging in occultism and is definitely not an option for a Christian. Such activity is clearly forbidden in the Bible. No matter how innocent it may seem, playing with Ouija boards can be an opening for demons to invade our hearts and minds. All demonic activity is under the control of Satan, whom Peter describes in no uncertain terms: “Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (2 Peter 5:8). The scriptural example for dealing with items that pertain to the occult (books, music, jewelry, occult games, and other occult objects) is to confess involvement with them as sin and burn the items—safely, of course (Acts 19:18-19).

Katy Perry is having premarital sex with John Mayer…aka the dude who is infamous for bedding many a hot female celebrity. She recently was seen making the early morning walk of shame with John Mayer leaving his apartment. (Article source HERE).

There is no Hebrew or Greek word used in the Bible that precisely refers to sex before marriage. The Bible undeniably condemns adultery and sexual immorality, but is sex before marriage considered sexually immoral? According to 1 Corinthians 7:2, “yes” is the clear answer: “But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband.” In this verse, Paul states that marriage is the “cure” for sexual immorality. First Corinthians 7:2 is essentially saying that, because people cannot control themselves and so many are having immoral sex outside of marriage, people should get married. Then they can fulfill their passions in a moral way.

Since 1 Corinthians 7:2 clearly includes sex before marriage in the definition of sexual immorality, all of the Bible verses that condemn sexual immorality as being sinful also condemn sex before marriage as sinful. Sex before marriage is included in the biblical definition of sexual immorality. There are numerous Scriptures that declare sex before marriage to be a sin (Acts 15:20; 1 Corinthians 5:1; 6:13, 18; 10:8; 2 Corinthians 12:21; Galatians 5:19; Ephesians 5:3; Colossians 3:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Jude 7). The Bible promotes complete abstinence before marriage. Sex between a husband and his wife is the only form of sexual relations of which God approves (Hebrews 13:4).

Far too often we focus on the “recreation” aspect of sex without recognizing that there is another aspect—procreation. Sex within marriage is pleasurable, and God designed it that way. God wants men and women to enjoy sexual activity within the confines of marriage. Song of Solomon and several other Bible passages (such as Proverbs 5:19) clearly describe the pleasure of sex. However, the couple must understand that God’s intent for sex includes producing children. Thus, for a couple to engage in sex before marriage is doubly wrong—they are enjoying pleasures not intended for them, and they are taking a chance of creating a human life outside of the family structure God intended for every child.

While practicality does not determine right from wrong, if the Bible’s message on sex before marriage were obeyed, there would be far fewer sexually transmitted diseases, far fewer abortions, far fewer unwed mothers and unwanted pregnancies, and far fewer children growing up without both parents in their lives. Abstinence is God’s only policy when it comes to sex before marriage. Abstinence saves lives, protects babies, gives sexual relations the proper value, and, most importantly, honors God.

Katy, where are your Christian fruit? I think she sacrificed that a LONG time ago for the fame that has made her arguably one of the most successful and popular musical acts of our time.  Am I condemning her? NO!!!  I am not.  She is not beyond redemption. She can turn back to Jesus and she knows how to and I pray that she chooses to turn back to Jesus soon!!  Don’t believe the hype people. Her song “Wide Awake” was not a symbolism for her return to her Christian roots, it’s more of a symbolism of her being wide awake to the deception she felt she was under when she married her now ex husband Russell Brand.

Katy is knowingly leading people, including Christians astray from the Lord.  Her music does NOTHING to glorify the Lord. Songs like “Last Friday Night” glorify partying and drinking and fornicating. How anyone could perceive that as something a good, Bible believing Christian would do, is beyond me.

Look at these photos, look at her music and her actions as of late. Ask yourself, is this something a true, Bible believing Christian would do? She knows the Word, she was raised in it. She knows what the Bible calls us as Christians to do and how we as Christians should live.

What Makes a Christian a Christian?

This is a question that is both very simple and very difficult to answer. According to the Bible, there is only one thing that makes a person a Christian, and that is faith in Jesus Christ. But what does that mean? Does it mean just saying “I believe” or praying a prayer? Or is there more to it?

The book of Romans goes step by step through what salvation means. The beginning chapters talk about sin, and the penalty for sin (death, hell) and the fact that everyone is sinful. Chapters 4 and 5 talk about how we are justified by faith alone, and how salvation (getting to heaven) is NOT a result of our works, or our good deeds, but it is based on God’s power to save us. It also mentions the Law (all of God’s rules for our lives) and how the purpose of the law was to show us that we cannot follow the law, and that we are all sinful. Why would God go to such lengths to prove how sinful we are?

Let’s say you had a deadly disease that had no symptoms but would suddenly kill you 6 months from now. During your regular checkup, your family physician (a brilliant man) realizes that you are suffering from this insidious illness. He knows that the news will upset you but he also knows that he has a cure for your illness. Now, it wouldn’t make any sense to tell you about the cure without first telling you about the illness. In the same way, God created the law to show us our sin so that we would realize the danger we are in and believe in Christ for our salvation.

Jesus takes the punishment for our sins. In the Old Testament, the Law was given and a sacrifice was provided. In the New Testament, the Law was upheld, clarified / expanded by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount, and then fulfilled. Those that believe that this fulfillment of the Law is applied by God’s grace, through faith, to their own lives and to the debt of sin they owe are called Christians.

Now what? Romans 6 and 7 get deeper into the reality of what a Christian is.

A mysterious thing happens when a person becomes a Christian. Something dies and is replaced with something else. We are still ourselves, walking, talking, going to work, feeding our pets. But something intimately connected with our being has been lost. Look at Galatians 2:20.

“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”

So, something called “I” has been crucified with Christ, but we are still living a life here on earth, by faith in Him. Where did that crucified part of us go?

“For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.” Colossians 3:3-4

The part of us that dies is what we refer to as “the old man”. And in Romans Chapter 7, Paul tells us about the reality of our life now, as Christians. A battle is going on in us all the time. You see, the “old self” and the body (he calls it the flesh) were really good friends, and when the “old self” was crucified with Christ (by faith), a “new man” arrived (this is the life we now live in the flesh, by faith). God calls this being “born again” (John 3) or becoming a “new creation” (2 Corinthians 5:17). But this “new man” and the flesh do not get along. They are always at war. The flesh wants to sin. But the new man wants to please God. So, we have this conflict inside us. This is totally normal for a Christian – if you read Romans chapter 7 you will see how even Paul struggled with it.

We can win the spiritual battles we fight by “walking in the Spirit” (Gal. 5:16). Walking in the Spirit means we follow Him, and we are submissive to Him as He works to change us into His image. We say “You are right, I am wrong.” We agree with what the Bible says about us and about life. We pray, we ask for guidance. What we don’t do is try to be better people by sheer force of will. Of course, as Christians, we want to be better people – we want to be like Christ. But we also know we can’t do it. So we ask Him to change us by His Spirit.

Now, all that said, what makes a Christian a Christian?

A Christian sees and acknowledges the existence of God and His right to rule.
A Christian is convicted by the words of the Bible and will see that they can never live up to the standard God has put in place.
A Christian accepts the reality that their deeds deserve death, and that without God’s intervention, they will be lost eternally.
A Christian takes great joy in the fact that Jesus Christ has taken the punishment for sin and has opened their way to Heaven.
A Christian believes that Jesus’ sacrificial death applies personally and completely to their debt of sin. A Christians obeys the Lord – not out of a desire to save themselves, because that has been done on the cross – but because the “new self” desires to obey.
A Christian will have peace in doing what’s right – following Him, even when it hurts.
A Christian is not a person that does everything right all the time, but a person who desires what God desires.
A Christian is not a person that wins every battle against sin, but one that keeps on fighting.

Luke 14:26 says “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.” This may sound harsh, but what Jesus means by “hate” is that following Him must be absolutely FIRST in your life – even if it means turning away from your family. This is very sad when it happens, but it is a good example of the absolute devotion that a true Christian has to Jesus Christ.

If you realize that you don’t feel that kind of devotion to Him, don’t stress out about it. Just ask Him to change your heart so that you are devoted to Him. What’s so great about God is that He will give us anything and everything we need to do His will, to obey Him, and to love Him (John 14:14). We tend to ask for things like health or wealth or success, but the true treasures are things that help us fight the battle (faith, salvation, righteousness, truth (Ephesians 6)) and the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness and self-control (Galatians 5)).

I do not hate Katy, in fact she is in my prayers every single day. What I dislike is how so many people are being led astray by her and how so many parents assume that allowing their children to listen to her music is safe because she was raised as a Christian.  I can say that I’m an Olympic athlete, doesn’t mean that it’s the truth. Anyone can claim to be anything they want but ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER than words

A Tree and Its Fruit

15 “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.16 You will [k]know them by their fruits. [l]Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?17 So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.18 A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.20 So then, you will [m]know themby their fruits.

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many [n]miracles?’23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

Do not be deceived. Jesus is the ONLY way to Salvation!! Katy is not out of God’s reach but He won’t force Himself on her.  I pray that she turns from this life of fame, money and evil and back to Jesus.

1 Timothy 6:3-21

If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not [d]agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness,he is conceited and understands nothing; but he [e]has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions, and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that [f]godliness is a means of gain. But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all [g]sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

11 But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, [h]perseverance and gentleness.12 Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.13 I charge you in the presence of God, who [i]gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate,14 that you keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,15 which He will[j]bring about at the proper time—He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of [k]kings and Lord of [l]lords,16 who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.

17 Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.18 Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good [m]works, to be generous and ready to share,19 storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.

20 O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly and empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called “knowledge”—21 which some have professed and thus gone astray[n]from the faith.

Grace be with you.

Don’t hate those who are in the world and living a sinful life, instead love them and pray for them that the Lord Jesus reveal Himself to them and that they accept Him and repent and turn away from sins so that their souls will be saved.

Jesus upholds God’s law against homosexuality

Why do gay christians and their allies claim that if Jesus were here today he would approve of homosexuality? Some of the reasons such as the need to justify their own behavior is obvious. But from Jesus’ own words, its clear that not only does he not approve of homosexuality, he condemns it as a fallen condition of the human experience.  Consider, if you will, the following passage from Mark 10:2-12

And Pharisees came up and in order to test him asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?” He answered them, “What did Moses command you?” They said, “Moses allowed a man to write a certificate of divorce and to send her away.”  And Jesus said to them, “Because of your hardness of heart he wrote you this commandment.  But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’  ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife,[a] 8 and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. 9 What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” And in the house the disciples asked him again about this matter.  And he said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her,  and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”

The above exchange between Jesus and the pharisees would be the exact same exchange between Jesus and advocates of homosexual marriage had they been the ones “tempting” him to go against God’s will.  First of all, take note that the question is not one seeking to know for the purpose of of adjusting one’s life to the sovereign will of God. Its a temptation. And every temptation originates with satan, because God cannot tempt man with evil (James 1:13).  In the same way, the questions posed by gay christians and their allies do not seek spiritual enlightenment to live by God’s will it is a temptation to commit evil.

Homosexual pharisees would have asked Jesus something like “Is it okay for a man/woman to be in a monogamous, consensual, loving relationship with another man/woman?”

Jesus would have responded and asked them what the law stated.  At this point, their question would have come to a dead end because they would have already known what the law required: death for any man who engaged in sexual relations with one of the same gender.

The more salient point to be extracted is that Jesus did not support divorce and he would not have supported homosexuality seeing as how both were  a violation of God’s original moral laws. In fact, his deference to the original law of God –not the law of Moses— shows that he did not regard man made religious proclamations which gave approval to sin.

Seeing that Jesus is the omniscient God come in the flesh (John 1:1-14), he could have easily taken this opportunity to exempt homosexual relationships that are so called “loving, consensual and monogamous”.  Although he knows all things past, present and future, he did not exempt homosexuality (or any other immoral relational rearrangement).

But gay christians claim that the bible does not recognize contemporary monogamous, loving same sex relationships, thus none of the prohibitions are applicable to them. Such an argument is trite and conveniently self serving.

What gay christians and their allies attempt to do is take a record of human experience and make it law. Because of the hardness of their hearts against God’s law, they make their own which allows them to commit homosexuality.  But Jesus counteracts such erroneous assumptions by saying that human experience is not the measure for righteousness. It has never been and never will be. The true plumbline for all human relationships is God’s original standard. That’s why Jesus referred them back to the original intent of God. God’s standards, no matter who fails to achieve them, will always remain the same.

And even if there were cases of homosexual marriage in the bible specifically, just like adultery, polygamy and beastiality, it would be just another example of failed human experience which carries zero approval from God.

1 Corinthians 7:1-16
Now for the matters you wrote about: It is good for a man not to marry.  But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband.  The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband.  The wife’s body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband’s body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife.  Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.  I say this as a concession, not as a command.  I wish that all men were as I am. But each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.  Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I am.  But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.  To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband.  But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.  To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her.  And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him.  For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.  But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace.  How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?

May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.  A loving doe, a graceful deer— may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love.
  • Proverbs 12:4

A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.
  • Proverbs 18:22

He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD.
  • Proverbs 19:14

Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the LORD.
  • Proverbs 20:6-7

Many a man claims to have unfailing love, but a faithful man who can find?  The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him.
  • Proverbs 30:18-19

“There are three things that are too amazing for me, four that I do not understand:  the way of an eagle in the sky, the way of a snake on a rock, the way of a ship on the high seas, and the way of a man with a maiden.
  • Proverbs 31:10

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
  • Deuteronomy 24:5

If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. For one year he is to be free to stay at home and bring happiness to the wife he has married.
  • Matthew 19:4-6

“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’  and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’ ?  So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”
  • 1 Corinthians 7:1-16

  • Ephesians 5:22-23

Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.  For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
  • Colossians 3:18-19

Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.  Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
  • Hebrews 13:4-7

Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.  Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”  So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”  Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.
  • Mark 10:6-9

“But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’  ’For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,  and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one.  Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”

It is based on walking with Jesus and discovering He really does meet all our needs. Jesus is bigger than my need to eat, have clothing, or a place to lay my head. When we discover this truth we can grow in our trust of Jesus.A passing hunger for the things of this world comfort, lack of conflict, recognition, wealth, brings a short and shallow satisfaction. When you are full on worldly snacks when it is time to feed on the bread of life you have no appetite. Deep lasting satisfaction comes from continually feeding you mind and soul the truth of Jesus.
Do you ever wonder why God gave Moses an incomplete sentence to tell the Israelites who He is? I am seems to need something following it. If you are lost he says I am the way, if you are confused He says I am wisdom, if you are afraid He says I am with you, if you hurt He says I am your healer. He is everything.B) We learn to cast our cares on Jesus Then the Lord’s peace will keep your hearts and minds Philippians 4.6-7 (learn to let God have it)We give our burdens to someone who can carry and control what is going on in our lives. So what is it that is weighing you down? What seems to smother your peace? Anxiety, worry, or fear block and strangle thoughts of faith. Why did Jesus tell us to cast our cares on Him? Casting our worries on someone else or letting control of the situation go is not natural. It must be learned through the instruction and revelation Jesus gives us. We try to strangle hold the outcome and Jesus wants us to learn to take His hand. III. Peace is grace lived outWhat is peace? It is living in the constant flow of God’s grace. Peace with God is a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. How was this peace purchased? At the cross sin and separation was confronted not appeased. Sin was not overlooked it was paid for. The righteousness of God, Jesus Christ, fought sin and won and the result is peace a whole relationship with God!! The peace with God is a gift. Peace of God is worked out as we grow in living in grace!! Do you ever ask yourself why don’t I have that peace that passes understanding that Paul promises will guard us in Philippians 4? It could be because you were never told that this promise comes as you grow in grace and walk with Jesus, or because you are not applying the principles of peace. How can I do this? It is not that easy. It has taken me about 18 years to discover how to daily live in God’s peace. Peace with God means that I am saved, forgiven, sealed. Peace of God is living daily understanding I am right with God. This overwhelming realization means that no matter what when I leave this place I will go to be with God. Living God’s grace out is not something you can necessarily tell someone. You can give principles and helpful direction however, you must experience God’s grace His forever presence in your daily emotions, decisions, thoughts etc. Peace is knowing that God is bigger than your circumstance. Peace is knowing that if God tells you to do something He will deal with the results. It does away with worry etc.

As I grow more and more in learning to lean on Jesus it seems as though he creates a burden to share with others how to live above my circumstances in the presence of God. It is not that life is perfect it is that God is perfect able to meet the needs of the situations I face.

The word Shalom – Wholeness
The word of confession – Jesus

I. Peace is given by the Lord (My peace I give to you) John 14.27

A) A different peace – My peace I give to you, not as the world gives.

Romans 5.1 It is because of His work for us and in us that we are whole. God desires to give you wholeness. He is not the one that keeps you from peace in your struggle. Since the cross the stretched pierced arms of Jesus were open to you to make you whole. The world says peace only comes when the conflict ends. Jesus says I offer you the gift of wholeness in the conflict.

B) A definite peace – “your heart must not be troubled or fearful.”

Habakkuk 2:4 God tells us that the just shall live by faith. Faith is a trust in the goodness of God that keeps our hearts from being fearful about situations or results. Faithfulness as followers of Jesus depends on living by faith because of the peace God gives us. This distinct peace is based on Jesus finished work on the cross. He said it is finished. Colossians 1:20 “Our Lord made peace through the blood of the Cross.”

This is all the peace with God. What is missing today in so many Christians lives is the peace of God. Peace with God is based on Jesus atoning work on the cross it can never be taken away.

II. Peace is grown by learning to lean

Peace with God is given. Peace of God grows. The peace of God is experiential. It is in the growing nearness and likeness to Jesus that this peace grows.

A) We learn to be satisfied

I have learned to be content in whatever condition Philippians 4.10-14

Contentment isn’t based on things that change. It is based on walking with Jesus and discovering He really does meet all our needs. Jesus is bigger than my need to eat, have clothing, or a place to lay my head. When we discover this truth we can grow in our trust of Jesus.

Whatever you face in this life He says I am and you fill in the blank. He is everything.

B) We learn to cast our cares on Jesus

Then the Lord’s peace will keep your hearts and minds Philippians 4.6-7 (learn to let God have it)
We give our burdens to someone who can carry and control what is going on in our lives. So what is it that is weighing you down? What seems to smother your peace? Q & A: Why be pro-life?

Earlier today I was asked this: (A few people wrote me saying they wish it was rebloggable so here it is)

mylifewithsocialanxiety asked: Why be pro-life? I mean, do you know what hyperemesis gravidarum, pre-eclampsia, and ectopic pregnancies are? Do you know how physically hellish pregnancy can be for a woman? Do you know all of the different ways that pregnancy can cause mental and emotional distress to a woman? Do you know how emotionally scarring it can be to give a child up for adoption? Or do you just not care about any of that?

Let me address your question one item at a time. I am pro-life because I believe every single life begins at conception and that every baby deserves a chance at a life.

  • I know what pre-eclampsia pregnancies are. I actually have a friend who had pre-eclampsia while pregnant and she gave birth to a premature baby girl who has survived and is thriving. I think that if there is no chance for the baby to survive AND carrying it to term would cause the mother’s life to be in danger that God would forgive her for terminating her pregnancy. However, there are babies born to mothers who have pre-eclampsia every day.
  • Hyperemesis gravidarum is extreme vomiting during pregnancy which can lead to dehydration and sometimes drastic outcomes for the mother and the baby due to this. Sometimes women who are dealing with this have to go into the hospital during part of their pregnancy but they can survive and delivery healthy babies. They should not abort their babies because being pregnant has caused them to feel sick.
  • Ectopic pregnancies are when the baby doesn’t drop into the uterus and is in the fallopian tube. In this case the baby won’t be able to survive either way though in rare occurrences, doctors are able to operate and get the baby out of the tube and into the uterus but the survival rate is low for the baby and the mother has a high risk of death. In this instance, when the baby is dead anyway or going to die because it cannot grow and thrive in the fallopian tube and the mother will face certain death unless she aborts, then I think God would be forgiving and understanding with her situation and why she has to abort.
  • I do know how physically hellish pregnancies are, I gave birth to a 10 lb 4.8 oz 25 inch baby boy almost 11 years ago and the pregnancy and birth were hellish and done without any medication.  It’s a risk we as women take when getting pregnant but it’s not the baby’s fault and a baby doesn’t deserve to be exterminated because it’s making the mother feel miserable as she goes through the pregnancy.
  • Pregnancy can cause mental and emotional distress to a woman and like I said earlier, it’s a risk she has to take. In certain medical situations, the doctors warn women not to get pregnant because they can’t take medication that they need while pregnant. I have a cousin with vertigo which became terrible for her to deal with while pregnant because she had to stop all her meds when she got pregnant and she has complications now, 2 years after my niece was born but she says my lovely little niece was worth every bit of it. If someone is afraid of experiencing emotional and mental distress perhaps they should refrain from having sex so they don’t get pregnant. We are adults who are accountable for our own actions. They can use condoms or other methods of birth lessen the risk of getting pregnant but the risk with taking birth control but they should read the risks of each of the forms of birth control before taking them because some (like the pill) can cause fertility problems later in life and in some cases, extreme physical harm to women taking them.
  • Giving up a child for adoption is one of the hardest things a woman will ever have to do. 5 of my cousins were adopted and I’ve met two of their birth mothers who said it hurt so bad to give their baby up but that it was the right thing to do. I’m willing to bet if you ask someone who was adopted if they wish they had been aborted, they’d say no. It’s not the baby’s fault if a woman can’t or doesn’t want to take care of it.  Even in cases of rape, there are many children who were born to parents of rape and know about it and are very thankful that their mothers decided to give birth to them and give them up for adoption. Rape is a terrible and awful thing and I know that women who go through such trauma just want to forget about it and in many cases, women who are raped and report it go through the “rape kit” and that would minimize the risk of pregnancy. At the same time, the baby is a complete innocent regardless of who the rapist biological father is. Why punish an innocent baby who did nothing wrong?

This link is about people who survived being aborted as babies and how thankful they are that they survived.

This link is of people who were conceived in rape and are so thankful that they were given birth to and not aborted. http://choices4life.org/Conceived_In_Rape_Stories-Children_KE.htm

The world is an evil and cruel place and I have nothing but empathy and love for women who are undergoing such strife. I had my son at 19 with no father before I became a Christian and I’m thankful every day that I didn’t abort him. I went to Planned Parenthood with the intent of aborting him and couldn’t go through with it and thank God that I decided to keep my son because he is the greatest blessing in my life. Watching the torment the women who got the abortions had to go through was what deterred me from getting an abortion.

Going through an abortion, killing your baby scars a woman just as much as having the baby would in some cases and in others, causes infertility problems in the future when they are ready to have kids because of a mistake made by abortion doctors.

Killing babies is wrong. Period. Regardless of whether they’re in the womb or not. A life is a life.  Millions of babies have been aborted. Since Roe vs. Wade in 1973 over 50 MILLION babies have been aborted. MURDERED.  That is more than the Holocaust and 911 combined. Murder is murder and those babies deserve a chance.  http://www.180movie.com/

There is hope for every sinner, even women who have aborted their babies if they repent and ask Jesus for forgiveness.

The Bible never specifically addresses the issue of abortion. However, there are numerous teachings in Scripture that make it abundantly clear what God’s view of abortion is. Jeremiah 1:5 tells us that God knows us before He forms us in the womb. Psalm 139:13-16 speaks of God’s active role in our creation and formation in the womb. Exodus 21:22-25 prescribes the same penalty—death—for someone who causes the death of a baby in the womb as for someone who commits murder. This clearly indicates that God considers a baby in the womb to be as human as a full-grown adult. For the Christian, abortion is not a matter of a woman’s right to choose. It is a matter of the life or death of a human being made in God’s image (Genesis 1:26-27; 9:6).

The first argument that always arises against the Christian stance on abortion is “What about cases of rape and/or incest?” As horrible as it would be to become pregnant as a result of rape and/or incest, is the murder of a baby the answer? Two wrongs do not make a right. The child who is a result of rape/incest could be given in adoption to a loving family unable to have children on their own, or the child could be raised by its mother. Again, the baby is completely innocent and should not be punished for the evil acts of its father.

The second argument that usually arises against the Christian stance on abortion is “What about when the life of the mother is at risk?” Honestly, this is the most difficult question to answer on the issue of abortion. First, let’s remember that this situation is the reason behind less than one-tenth of one percent of the abortions done in the world today. Far more women have an abortion for convenience than women who have an abortion to save their own lives. Second, let’s remember that God is a God of miracles. He can preserve the life of a mother and a child despite all the medical odds being against it. Ultimately, though, this question can only be decided between a husband, wife, and God. Any couple facing this extremely difficult situation should pray to the Lord for wisdom (James 1:5) as to what He would have them to do.

Over 95 percent of the abortions performed today involve women who simply do not want to have a baby. Less than 5 percent of abortions are for the reasons of rape, incest, or the mother’s health at risk. Even in the more difficult 5 percent of instances, abortion should never be the first option. The life of a human being in the womb is worth every effort to allow the child to be born.

For those who have had an abortion, remember that the sin of abortion is no less forgivable than any other sin. Through faith in Christ, all sins can be forgiven (John 3:16Romans 8:1Colossians 1:14). A woman who has had an abortion, a man who has encouraged an abortion, or even a doctor who has performed one—can all be forgiven by faith in Jesus Christ.

The Bible does teach that life begins at conception. Every culture’s view of when human life begins changes as society’s values, moral standards, and knowledge about the process of embryonic development change. Prior to the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision that allowed abortion on demand, developing embryos were considered unborn persons. Now, even a fetus that could survive on its own outside its mother’s womb could be aborted, under certain medical circumstances. This demonstrates that we do not consider an unborn child to be a true human being.

Science tells us that human life begins at the time of conception. From the moment fertilization takes place, the child’s genetic makeup is already complete. Its gender has already been determined, along with its height and hair, eye and skin color. The only thing the embryo needs to become a fully-functioning being is the time to grow and develop.

More importantly, God reveals to us in His Word that not only does life begin at conception, but He knows who we are even before then (Jeremiah 1:5). King David said this about God’s role in our conception: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb … your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be” (Psalm 139:13, 16).

Society continually seeks to devalue the lives of the unborn, creating its own definitions of humanity based on distorted views of morality. But the undeniable fact is that life begins at creation, and a human is created as soon as he or she is conceived. God is present at our creation; He is, in fact, our Creator. Our value as human beings created in His image is conceived even before we are.

Sad to say, having an abortion and regretting it later is an all too common experience. While what has been done cannot be undone, women can experience healing and recovery after an abortion. The God of all comfort and healing is more than able to bring ease the sorrow and pain of an abortion and can restore women to life and joy.

Although children are always a blessing, they do not always arrive under the most blessed of circumstances. One of the consequences of pre-marital sex is often the conception of an unwanted child. This can be a frightening experience for someone who is not financially, emotionally, or physically prepared for such a responsibility. Many women and teenage girls who decide to seek an abortion are scared, confused, desperate, and extremely vulnerable. In their search for answers, they are fooled into believing that unborn children are expendable “lumps of tissue,” not really pre-born human beings. Often this revelation comes later, in the form of post-abortion stress syndrome, guilt, and depression.

There is good news for anyone who has had an abortion, and that is that God offers forgiveness to anyone who asks for it. Romans 3:22 says, “We are made right in God’s sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done.” It is never too late to come to God for healing. There is nothing we can do that is so bad it is unforgivable. God offers this forgiveness, and He also offers peace of mind and heart, if we will only receive it by putting our faith in the Christ, Jesus, allowing Him permanent residence and authority in our lives.

Some women who are already Christians also find themselves in situations where they may decide to have an abortion, perhaps out of fear of how they will be perceived by the Christian community when their choice of having pre-marital sex is profoundly evident. Even if the Christian woman knows how God feels about abortion, she may feel, out of desperation, that she must get rid of the “evidence.” This is perhaps, in part, the responsibility of the church, which may not support women in this situation as well as we should. It is important to assure these women that although God does not approve of their actions, He is ready to offer forgiveness and redemption. The same is true for a Christian woman that has had an abortion. Yes, it is wrong, it is the taking of a life, but it is not unforgivable. The Bible says that there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), and so when we ask Him for forgiveness, He freely offers it. This is not because we deserve it, but because this is the loving nature of our Lord.

When a woman realizes the repercussions of having an abortion, she may find it difficult to forgive herself. But God does not want us to live with perpetual guilt; He wants us to learn from our mistakes and use them to His advantage, as well as our own. It will require a lot of prayer, which is simply conversation with God. This and studying the Bible helps us get to know God better so that we can trust Him to heal us and be better equipped to do His work. Instead of dwelling on the act, a woman should be encouraged to use her experience to help others. She may first need to go through Christian counseling to help get through the experience, as it can be traumatic. But in the aftermath, if she trusts in the Lord, she will be stronger and more spiritually mature. She will have gone through an experience that God is able to use to strengthen her character and prepare her for ministering to others.

Modern birth control methods were unknown in Bible times, and the Bible is, therefore, silent on the matter. The Bible does have quite a lot to say about children, however. The Bible presents children as a gift from God (Genesis 4:1;Genesis 33:5), a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3-5), a blessing from God (Luke 1:42), and a crown to the aged (Proverbs 17:6). God sometimes blesses barren women with children (Psalm 113:9Genesis 21:1-3; 25:21-22; 30:1-21 Samuel 1:6-8;Luke 1:7, 24-25). God forms children in the womb (Psalm 139:13-16). God knows children before their birth (Jeremiah 1:5Galatians 1:15).

The closest that Scripture comes to condemning birth control is Genesis chapter 38, the account of Judah’s sons Er and Onan. Er married a woman named Tamar, but he was wicked and the Lord put him to death, leaving Tamar with no husband or children. Tamar was given in marriage to Er’s brother, Onan, in accordance with the law of levirate marriage in Deuteronomy 25:5-6. Onan did not want to split his inheritance with any child that he might produce on his brother’s behalf, so he practiced the oldest form of birth control, withdrawal. Genesis 38:10 says, “What he did was wicked in the LORD’s sight; so He put him to death also.” Onan’s motivation was selfish; he used Tamar for his own pleasure, but refused to perform his legal duty of creating an heir for his deceased brother. This passage is often used as evidence that God does not approve of birth control. However, it was not the act of contraception that caused the Lord to put Onan to death; it was Onan’s selfish motives behind the action. Therefore, we can find no biblical admonition against the use of birth control in and of itself.

Contraception, by definition, is merely the opposite of conception. It is not the use of contraception that is wrong or right. As we learned from Onan, it is the motivation behind the contraception that determines if it is right or wrong. Married couples use contraception for a variety of reasons. Some feel called to put off childbearing until they are in a better position to care for children. Some, such as missionary couples, may feel their service to God overrides the desire for children at a particular point in time. Some may be convinced that God has a different plan for them. Ultimately, a couple’s motives for delaying childbearing, using contraception, or even having numerous children, are between them and God.

The inability to have children when they are desired is always presented in Scripture as a bad thing, especially considering the cultural stigma attached to childlessness at that time. There is no one in the Bible who expressed a desire not to have any children. At the same time, it cannot be argued from the Bible that it is wrong to use birth control for a limited time, or even permanently, for that matter. All married couples should seek the Lord’s will in regards to when they should try to have children and how many children they seek to have.

It all comes down to this: no one has the right to determine whether someone else should or should not use birth control, how many children is the “right” number for them, or whether they should have children at all. As in all things, we are not to judge others or cause brothers and sisters in Christ to stumble, spiritually speaking.

Bottom line, the baby is the ultimate victim here. Every baby deserves a chance at life. What if one of those aborted babies was who God designed to find a cure for cancer?  I pray for all those who are considering abortion or have had one, it’s not too late to change your life and turn to Jesus.

God bless you! You are in my prayers.

Reverend Don Hamer of the Anti-Defamation Commission on “7 Reasons Why Obama is Not a Christian” by any Biblical or Historical view.

Part 7 of 7

Let’s be clear here. I am neither Democrat or Republican. I don’t care for either candidates but as a Christian, I’m voting for Romney because his moral beliefs are more in line with what I believe as a Christian.  Romney is Pro Life (against Abortion) and for Traditional Marriage not to mention the fact that Obama has had 4 years to make changes and instead of helping our country, he has led it into financial collapse. Even though Romney is a Mormon, he will have my vote simply because I can’t vote for Obama and call myself a Christian. I can’t vote for someone who is for abortion let alone someone who supports partial birth abortions where a baby that was aborted is born alive and they kill it or let it die. I can’t vote for someone who supports gay marriage because marriage is ordained by God to be between a man and a woman. I don’t hate anyone who is gay but I can’t support anything that is contradictory to the Word of God.

The truth is not always an easy pill to swallow. Sometimes admitting the truth means abandoning all of the jaded ways you've become accustomed to.
